Discover our COVID-19 testing services, whether you are an at-risk asymptomatic person or an interested traveler. 

Public Asymptomatic COVID-19 Testing

COVID-19 testing of at-risk asymptomatic persons are available at participating pharmacies.

Individuals who meet the eligibility criteria set by the province may get tested with no charge. Test results may take up to 4-5 days.

This service is offered at no charge at participating pharmacies for Ontario residents not showing signs of COVID-19 and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Workers, visitors and government inspectors of long-term care home
  • Workers, visitors and government inspectors of retirement homes
  • Residents or workers in homeless shelters or other congregate settings
  • International students who have passed their 14-day quarantine period
  • Farm workers
  • Individuals who self-identify as Indigenous
  • School staff inclusive of itinerant, supply, specialty teachers, and childcare staff, and school bus drivers
  • Individuals, and one accompanying caregiver, with written prior approval for out-of country medical services from the General Manager, OHIP
  • Individuals who are travelling into remote/isolated First Nation and Indigenous communities for work purposes.

Private Asymptomatic Testing for Travelers

COVID-19 testing is available for interested travelers.

Individuals must meet criteria prior to testing and results are typically available within 48 hours.

Before booking an appointment at participating pharmacies, please note that:

  • Results are sent within 48 hours to the email address provided when ordering the test (however this is not a guarantee).
  • Individuals must meet eligibility criteria prior to coming into the pharmacy:
    • Individuals must be asymptomatic (no cough, fever, shortness of breath, decreased/loss of sense of smell or taste).
    • Have not travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days.
    • Have not come into close contact with someone with confirmed COVID-19 test in the past 14 days.
    • Have not previously tested positive for COVID-19 (contact your provider for duration). Have not been ordered by public health authorities to stay at home.
