How to use this medication

Avoid consuming alcohol or alcohol-containing products while taking this medication and for several days after the medication is discontinued. Consuming alcohol while taking this medication may cause vomiting and painful cramps. This medication contains sodium. Consider this intake if you are on a low-sodium diet.
Possible side effects
In addition to its desired action, this medication may cause some side effects, notably:
- it may cause headaches;
- it may cause diarrhea;
- it may cause dizziness - use caution when getting up from a lying or sitting position and use caution if driving;
- it may cause a metallic aftertaste;
- it may cause nausea or, rarely, vomiting;
- it may give urine a dark colour.
