Participating in the arts

Kenora, ON personal pharmacist Lorna Smith has been busy spreading joy this holiday season with a personal creation displayed at the Jingle Ball exhibition in the Douglas Family Art Centre. Using mixed media on a mannequin she transformed viewers into a wondrous place reflecting the blue of frozen lakes, snowflakes, and skylines with evergreens providing the perfect foil.

Mohammed and Nadia Migdady of The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy on Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB were pleased to provide Alberta Minister of Health, Tyler Shandro with his first and second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, and Alberta Chief Medical Officer of Health, Deena Hinshaw with her first dose.

Sharing experience

Along with other front-line pharmacists across the country, our very own Diane Harpell of Dartmouth, NS met virtually with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland to discuss ongoing vaccination efforts in the fight against COVID-19.

Investing in the future

Lethbridge, AB personal pharmacist Vishal Sukhadiya gives local education a boost by offering a $5,000 scholarship program for students in the four Grade 12 high schools in Lethbridge School District 51.
